The Universe
There are locations across the universe where the boundaries holding the Aspects apart grow thin. In these locations, Novas can draw on energies from the five Aspects, allowing them to summon monsters and use epic powers.
In many of these locations, arenas sprung up where two Novas can test their skills against each other, battling with summoned units and epic powers until the last Nova standing wins.
Each Nova selects their own deck of units and powers, and brings it into the arena with the goal of knocking out their opponent. Some Novas focus on one aspect, while others attempt to draw on two or more aspects at once.
Novas fight for fame and fortune – the best of the best earn a place in the annual Nova Blitz championship, where millions of Credits are at stake!
Novas duel in front of crowds of fans in Arenas across the universe. A grudge match between two popular Novas could draw millions of viewers. And, for the final rounds of each year’s Nova Blitz Championship, the viewer numbers skyrocket into the billions!
Most duels, however, are simpler in nature – sparring to practice for a tournament, a one-off challenge to settle an old score, or maybe a duel in a qualifying league or tournament.
Aspects
The universe of Nova Blitz is ruled by five aspects of energy: Arcane, Tech, Divine, Nature, and Chaos. Each aspect’s energy guides its philosophies, strengths, and weaknesses, as well as fueling its powers and units.
